2023 Honda Odyssey
The Honda Odyssey will make you rethink the minivan with its refined ride, powerful engine, and latest convenience and tech features. For the 2023 model year, a new Sport trim joins the lineup, while the rest remains the same. However, all 2023 Odyssey models will come with two years of complimentary maintenance.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The entry-level Odyssey EX has 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, power-sliding rear doors, and heated side exterior mirrors. The EX-L adds to this with a power liftgate, sunroof, and sound-reducing front windshield, and the new Sport trim goes even further with unique 19-inch wheels, a black grille, and a black window trim. Stepping up to the Touring gets you 19-inch wheels and several cabin upgrades. At the same time, the Elite has automatic wipers, power-folding side exterior mirrors, a hands-free power liftgate, and sound-reducing glass on the sides and in the rear.
Engine (Power)
Every 2023 Honda Odyssey gets power from the same 3.5-liter V-6 gas engine. It puts out 280 horsepower and works with front-wheel drive. A 10-speed automatic transmission smoothly works through the gears.
Performance
The ride in the Odyssey is smooth and quiet. The engine quickly powers it up to speed, and it is easy to handle whether you're going straight down the highway, traveling over curvy back roads, or navigating city traffic. Steering on the Odyssey is crisp and responsive. In addition, the suspension smooths out road imperfections, so when the kids fall asleep, they can stay asleep.
Interior
All three rows in the Odyssey are comfortable, and it has a roomier third row than most minivans. The second-row Magic Slide seats move back and forth and side to side, making it easy to get the space you need. Tri-zone automatic climate control comes standard, along with heated front seats. Leather upholstery comes in the EX-L and above, and if you have the Elite, you'll get ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
Safety Features
Every 2023 Honda Odyssey comes with a full suite of driver safety aids. It comes equipped with forward collision warning, automatic braking, pedestrian detection, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning with mitigation. It also has a traffic sign recognition system and lane keep assist. The Touring adds front and rear parking sensors, and the Elite adds rain-sensing windshield wipers. A rear seat reminder is also available, which reminds the driver to check the back seats before walking away.
