The 2021 Honda Clarity Fuel Cell only offers one trim level. This model comes standard with exterior features like rain-sensing windshield wipers, LED taillights, chrome accents, a body-colored decklid spoiler, heated power side mirrors, automatic LED headlights, LED turn signal indicators, and 18-inch hybrid aerodynamic wheels with all-season, energy-saving tires.

Honda's fuel cell stack is compact and fits under the hood so there's no cabin space lost to the powertrain. This system is a proton exchange membrane fuel cell that uses hydrogen power and is easy to fill up at any hydrogen power station. Paired with an AC permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor and a lithium-ion battery, this powertrain puts out 174 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. The Clarity's standard transmission is a fixed, single-speed direct-drive with shift-by-wire technology and a sport driving mode.
